Steps to download Windows Assesment and deployment tool kit (ADK),
- Windows PE has always been part of the WAIK, or Windows ADK, but has been a separate download since Windows 10 1809. This gives the impression that one could create an ISO file or a USB stick with the separately downloaded WinPE files alone.

Windows 8 Winpe Iso Download
- Download the iso file.
- Mount the iso file as a virtual drive using a third-party tool (power iso or magic iso).
- The mounted virtual drive will be displayed in My Computer.
- Double click on the virtual drive, double click on StartCD.exe. Windows Automated installation kit will open.
- In the left side panel, click on Windows AIK Setup.
- Specify the installation path (it is recommended to have the default installation path ,as it will be automatically updated in the server during WinPE media creation).
- Click Next to confirm installation.
WinPE tool has been successfully installed now.
