பாரதிதாசன் அவர்கள், தமிழாசிரியாராகப் பதவியேற்ற அடுத்த ஆண்டிலே அதாவது 1920ஆம் ஆண்டில் பழநி அம்மையார் என்பவரை திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டார். அவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் நவம்பர் மாதம் 3 ஆம் தேதி, 1928ஆம் ஆண்டில் மன்னர்மன்னன் என்ற மகன் பிறந்தான். அதன் பிறகு, சரஸ்வதி, வசந்தா மற்றும் ரமணி என்ற மகள்களும் பிறந்தனர்.
