So I just bought the Samson Meteor microphone (Amazing: P) But i just noticed a problem, RealTek doesn't want to recognize my microphone. Before I got the Samson, I used a headset microphone, whice used a jack to connect to my Pc. I already tried reinstalling RealTek, a lot, but it didn't work.: P I'm not sure what i can do about it now.
I searched the forums before posting so my apologies if this has been answered before.
I am brand new to home recording and I have purchased a Samson Meteor USB mic. I am using this with a Lenovo Laptop running Win 7. When the mic is plugged in...I can't play any audio through the laptop speakers or through headphones connected via the headphone jack.
Anything I can do to fix this? For now I am just detaching the mic when I want to play...but it doesn't seem like that is the way this should work.
Thanks a lot,
GF4
