Story
After the death of his mother, Tomoya Okazaki—a guarded delinquent student at Hikarizaka High School—struggles to not only make sense of the abusive relationship he has with his alcoholic father, but also find meaning in his life. After Story
After Story is the second part, and what is largely considered the main story, of CLANNAD. In order to unlock After Story, you must have obtained a total of 8 “lights” from the different character routes, and have finished the Nagisa and Fuko routes. Once you have finished those, the “After Story” option will appear on the title screen.
Note: if you lose a light after obtaining it, that will not affect your progress for unlocking After Story.
First Playthrough
In order to get all the lights from the first playthrough, this guide assumes that you finished the Nagisa route and selected all the highlighted choices above, then make the following choices in After Story:
